INKSPIRATION

I've been labelling posts as INKSPIRATION. But I have never explain what it actually is. So here we go... A story, a treat, for whoever reading this random blog.

It all started when I was participating in a community service program (KKN) from my college. I joined a group that would do the service on an Island called Seliu. There were 30 of us. Among them are D, N, R, and V. Having been living together for 2 months and working together for ... I can't remember how long...naturally, all 30 of us become good friends. Even after the service had ended, we remain in contact with each other.

D,N,R, and V, all of them are really good story tellers and are very inspiring people. They enjoy writing and have been regularly writing on their blogs. How do I know? I observed, and of course they told me haha. I write too, on my scrapbook, rarely, and on a secret tumblr nobody knew, sshhh, twice. That's right, only twice. I deleted the first one because it was a secret letter, meant to be lost in the sea of the internet. But the internet is never a secret, duh! so I deleted it.

Long story short, V was going to study abroad. Before departing to the land of the samurais, he had this idea of making a writing project called INKSPIRATION. Somehow I got involved. I figured out that it could be a good opportunity for me to express myself. So I immediately cleaned up a blogspot I made when I was at highschool (that I never used) and fix the whole layout. Thanks to countless of blogging tutorials I was able to find this layout, kick it up a notch with the picture of the moon I took back at my grandma's house and voila! The Surface of The Universe is born! It's been more than 6 months.

I want to introduce you to my INKSPIRATIONS friends from my point of view. The first one is D. D is a very kind and cheerful girl. Always so smiley! She has a very kind and friendly family. We went to her house many times. I learned a lot from D. She is very honest and caring. I remember when we were still in Seliu, she was one the most diligent girl. On many occasions, at early morning, when I had just woken up, she's already in the middle of sweeping the yard, voluntarily and selflessly. D's so funny, she has the superpower to converse with us in her sleep hahahhaa. She's also a good cook. D often told me stories about her experiences, when she just spontaneously went on an adventure somewhere faraway from home, or when she spent some time in Thailand (yes, she went to Thailand for student exchange, how cool!), or when she saw a ghost (it was very scary)! I often found myself admiring her.

N is kind and bold. Sometimes when she tells a story, it ended up being funny I don't know why hahaha. Maybe because the way she tells them with a mix of Javanese. N is so passionate when it comes to journalism. She's very updated on important issues. When we were in Seliu, She showed good leadership and problem solving, even nowadays when we were in the process of sending our books to Seliu. N is a cool person. She seems to always look like everything is under control.  N is also very creative, she does embroidery! can you imagine? And it was so beautiful. Last but not least, N is always eager to improve herself. She asked us to join her to this seminar and that seminar. I went once on a seminar called CEOtalks. If it were not for N asking me, I wouldn't have gone because I wasn't interested hahaha. But you know what? The seminar ended up being very interesting, so thank you N!

R is very strong and brave. I was always in awe when she told me stories about her life. R's wisdom in life radiates to whoever near her. I wish I can be as brave and wise as R. She gives good advice, even without her realizing it haha. Conversing with R, I always take notes in my mind. W often found ourselves in a funny situation haha. Once we worked so hard together with N to send our books to Seliu. We wanted to use the facility from the post office that enables us to send books for free every 17th of the month. We worked really really hard from morning to set everything up so they're ready to send. The box was heavy and big we were having a tough time getting it from the parking lot to the post office. But! You know what? Upon arriving there, it turned out that day wasn't the 17th hahahahaha. We laughed so hard. R is very independent, she's a reliable person. And she's also very kind and friendly. Most of her friends ended up knowing each other hahaha.

The last person is V. He's the only gentleman in this group haha. Sometimes he's trapped in ladies' conversation. He's our captain since day one. Sometimes he could get on our nerves hihi, but at the end of the day, none would doubt that he's a leader. Funny thing about him is that we've been neighbors for 3 years without realizing! He's a very patient person. He's also a visionary. He planned his life well. Unlike me who goes into the future wild like a bird that's just learning what it feels like to fly. He's living at the other side of the world at the moment, realizing a big dream. He's a great inspiration, but on top of that, he's a good person.

So that's all. I'm so happy to have the chance to know them. I hope they know how amazing they are.  Semangat semua! Semoga Allah selalu memberikan kita kekuatan untuk menghadapi hari-hari!
